Sigma is a family-owned Japanese maker of lenses and cameras, founded in 1961 by Michihiro Yamaki and based in Kawasaki. All of its products are made at its single factory in Aizu, Fukushima. Best known for its Art, Contemporary and Sports lens lines, it also builds small, unconventional full-frame cameras for the L-Mount system.
