Carl Hansen & Søn is a family-owned Danish furniture maker on the island of Funen, founded by the cabinetmaker Carl Hansen in Odense in 1908. Since 1949 it has produced Hans J. Wegner's chairs, and it also makes pieces by Kaare Klint, Børge Mogensen, Poul Kjærholm and contemporary designers such as Tadao Ando.
