Wassily Chair by Knoll

Wassily Chair

$4835

Marcel Breuer designed the Wassily Chair in 1925 while he was an apprentice at the Bauhaus, reducing the club chair to a frame of bent tubular steel inspired by bicycle frames. Leather straps stretched across the frame form the seat, back and armrests. Knoll holds the production rights, and each frame is stamped with Breuer's signature. This version pairs black belting leather with polished chrome.

Objects chosen for how they look, feel and work. Furniture, kitchenware, technology, fragrance and the small everyday things, collected with an eye for thoughtful design.
